Gantry slipforming 

 
Bygging-Uddemann has used the standard slipform for many caisson projects in the past but we realized that we could develop a much more effective and economical solution for repeated concrete structures such as caisson production.


The Gantry Slipform system can be executed in diffrent set up's; on shore fixed gantry slipform, on shore moblie gantry slipfrom, off shore gantry slipform on floating dock, off shore fixed gantry slipform etc.

    

THE MAIN FEATURES OF THIS METHOD ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  • The slipform is never dismantled and reassembled during the progress of the production.
  • There are no jack tubes in the concrete and the yokes have extra high clearance, which simplifies the installation of rebars and block-outs.
  • The slipform decks are very spacious for good storing facility and best work conditions.
  • The need of cranes for the wall slipforming is very small.
